Clue Quest for iOS
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 11 August 2026
Clue Quest is designed and developed by Richard Robinson. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Clue Quest mobile game.
Information we collect
Clue Quest does not collect, transmit or store personal information on servers operated by Richard Robinson. The app does not request your name, postal address, telephone number, date of birth, precise location, photographs, contacts or advertising identifier.
Information stored on your device
The app stores limited gameplay information locally on your device, such as:
- Completed stages and unlocked progress.
- Current and high scores.
- Sound and haptic-feedback preferences.
This information supports the game experience. It is not transmitted to Richard Robinson or used to identify you. Removing the app may remove this locally stored information, subject to the normal behaviour of your device and backups.
In-App Purchases
Clue Quest offers an optional one-time In-App Purchase that unlocks World Two. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Richard Robinson does not receive or store your payment-card details.
The app receives limited purchase-entitlement information from Apple so it can determine whether World Two has been purchased and restore access when appropriate. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy policy and App Store terms.
Advertising, analytics and tracking
Clue Quest contains no third-party advertising, third-party analytics or cross-app tracking. The app does not sell or share personal information.
Children's privacy
Clue Quest is suitable for families and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app has no chat, social network, public profile, account registration or targeted advertising.
External services
The app uses Apple's App Store and StoreKit services to process and restore the optional In-App Purchase. Your use of Apple services is also governed by Apple's applicable terms and privacy policy.
Data security
Because Clue Quest does not operate user accounts or collect personal information on developer-controlled servers, it does not maintain a remote database of player information. Local app information is protected by the security features of your Apple device.
Your choices
You can disable sound effects and haptic feedback in the app's Settings screen. You can remove locally stored gameplay information by deleting the app, subject to any device backup or restoration settings controlled by Apple.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if Clue Quest's features or privacy practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
